The brochure “Zukunft Bauen: Digitale Bauwelt” introduces trendsetting projects regarding digital construction, such as “Digital Hut”. The project responds to the rapid development and spread of digital technologies as well as it´s consequences, that we as a society are facing today. “Digital Hut” presents an innovative concept in the intelligent control of processes or automation as well as the interaction of humans and objects. With the objective of designing and producing a “minimal house”, the research project uses comprehensive digital technologies developing a variable lightweight construction system. “Digital Hut” can be seen as an experimental construction kit, continuously transforming in order to meet the user´s needs. Like this the user themselves is included in the development and building process.
