Two Specializations \\ Computational Design & Facade Design
Computational Design or Facade Design? Select the focus area that best corresponds to your interests, and that you want to utilize to help shape the architecture of the future. State-of-the-art technology is the focus in our four-semester Master’s program in Integrated Design. During the program, you will learn about digital tools of the trade and a modern approach to building for the future.

International Degree \\ Master of Engineering (M.Eng.)
Students graduating from this master’s degree will earn the Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) Degree, which is internationally recognized. The degree qualifies for a position in the senior public service.
Globalization and the construction industry have introduced new demands on buildings and projects, considering both global and local factors. Planning processes are evolving alongside these changes, with digital technology driving lasting transformations across planning, production, and execution stages. Job profiles are also becoming more advanced. This Master’s program combines traditional design and planning methods with theoretical and practical skills in digital analysis, design, planning, and production, while offering insights into the latest technological advancements, information technology, innovative building materials, and scientific work.

Get Connected \\ Cooperation with external partners, universities and networks
The programme focuses on qualifying engineers for interdisciplinary, international and to a growing extent digitally supported jobs. Special emphasis is laid on the cooperation between university and external partners, to links to other universities, planning offices, the construction industry and to software manufacturers. The standard study period is four semesters. The specializations Facade Design and Computational Design are taught in English.

Switch perspectives \\ from architectural offices to research institutions
The MID qualifies graduates for positions in the private commercial sector as well as for the public sector. Job sectors include in particular architectural offices, engineering and planning offices as well as the construction industry, research institutes and universities. Other possibilities are also in specific technological fields, such as studies in software application and simulation technology, the research in new manufacturing methods, of construction or material innovation; these areas are covered in particular in the specialised modules with changing themes and best-practice examples.
