Collaborative Learning in Digital Environments

Due to rapidly developing technologies, learning will be a constant part of professional careers. This calls for collaborative and easily accessible digital learning environments, enabling education and exchange of knowledge. Thus effective cooperation and collaboration can be achieved.

Implementing the concept of “collaborative design” in the context of university teaching enriches the students´ learning process. Students are able to gain shared learning experiences, exchange information directly with each other and work on study projects interactively in groups. These aspects are further encouraged through the use of digital learning environments such as virtual rooms and the simultaneous editing of digital objects and models
